The Cape Otway Lightstation (1848) is the oldest mainland lighthouse still in operation. It guards the coast where Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean meet and is a highlight of your trip along the Great Ocean Road.
The Head Lightkeeper’s House and The Manager’s House are fully self contained and both can accommodate up to 16 people. Part of each house can be split off as a bed and breakfast for up to 6 people and this accommodation is generally only offered for midweek stays. A continental breakfast is included in the tariff for B&B guests.
Delicious home-made food and local delicacies, with a Mediterranean influence, are served all day at the Lightkeeper's Café (9:30am-4:30pm)
Climb the lighthouse, enjoy the spectacular sunsets in peace and quiet and meet the local friendly koalas and kangaroos. Don’t forget to pack your camera.
