Springwood Park is a family farm and until 1971was managed as a dairy farm. Now a beef fattening property. It will host up to 8 people, has two queen size beds, 2 singles and double bunks with a cot available,two large bathrooms with shower and toilet, fully furnished, all linen supplied, a stereo TV, video, electric blankets and a fully equipped kitchen. A recreational room is equipped with a table tennis table, billiard table, TV with video and CD player. There is a gas heater for cold days or relax on the verandah and enjoy the rural setting.
A large 6 acre dam is stocked in spring with 750 gramme Brown and Rainbow trout, Salmon and Silver Perch. Fly fishing lessons can be arranged
Small animals eg. geese, lambs, poultry and goats are in nearby paddocks and a pony is available for supervised rides for small children. The farm has alpacas in with the sheep to guard them from foxes. Small birds and wild life can be observed from a walkway into a forest area.
